Jeff Magnum just announced his upcoming US Tour and will be coming to Minneapolis in February to The Pantages. A sweet venue. I just don’t want the audience singing the whole time.

Hitting the U.S. and Europe

Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel has announced a new string of U.S. and European tour dates for early 2012. Dates in London and Dublin, surrounding the Mangum-curated ATP festival– which was set to take place in December, but was rescheduled for March last month– have also been confirmed.

Jeff Magnum Surprise Performance – Occupy Wall Street

I thought this was pretty cool.

Yesterday, Jeff Magnum (of Neutral Milk Hotel) showed up and played a surprise show for the Occupy Wall Street protesters in New York. It sounds like he played all the classics off In The Aeroplane Over The Sea. The crowd is having a blast and singing along. I love it.

Music Recomendation: AA Bondy

I know AA Bondy has been around for a bit but I’m just recently discovered what a great artist he is. His new album Believers is supposed to great though I haven’t heard it yet. I have listened to his first two, American Hearts and When The Devil’s Loose highly recommend both. Excellent songwriting and love his voice.

In case you were wondering where the guys who did Mystery Science Theater 3000 went, their current project, Rifftrax, proves these guys are adaptable and just as funny as ever.

Mike Nelson is such a gifted comedy writer. Highly recommended.
